Chapter 9: “The Calm Before the Storm…”

The merger between Nation 793 and the feared Nation 830 sent shockwaves through the entire globe. To grasp the gravity of this merger, one must delve into the dark history of Nation 830.

In nation 830 there was only 1 undisputed fierce alliance, KAW. The home to Jason and Antonkim. 2 warriors who’s strength exceeded even Sangjun’s. Like KNG, they (KAW) had endured an ongoing civil war. Their perceived enemy was the INT alliance. For nearly a year, INT endured relentless attacks. Reduced to a resilient resistance against the tyranny of Jason and his ruthless followers in the KAW alliance. Ironically, Antonkim was once part of INT but quickly defected to join Jason, drawn by a shared vision of control and domination.

When DocB uncovered these details, he was struck by the eerie similarities to A4O’s tactics. Disguised as an offer to unite alliances, it was, in fact, blackmail. “Join us or die” was always the narrative. This exact tactic had sparked the bloody civil war between A4O and KNG. Now that merger with Nation 830 was imminent KNG decided to seize their hostilities towards A4O and instead welcomed newfound peace.

Approached with cautious optimism, the merger then finally began…

Surprisingly, the merger brought a brief respite from the relentless war against Sangjun and A4O. KNG members finally had the chance to gather resources and participate victoriously in Frenzy and Void events, activities sorely missed during the endless battles.

Most importantly, KNG decided to permanently cease their war against A40 and Sangjun, who had now aligned with Jason and Antonkim in KAW. Some even began to drop their shields leaving them vunerbale to potential attacks. The sight of old enemies joining forces with KAW was chilling, but the fragile peace was a relief. Peace engulfed the atmosphere of nation 830 like oxygen and KNG had welcomed the breath of fresh air.

Despite the calm, an underlying tension permeated the atmosphere. Jason and Antonkim wasted no time asserting their dominance, imposing strict rules on KNG.

KAW declared their unyielding vendetta against INT remain and warned that any interference would be met with severe consequences. They prohibited any friendly interactions with INT and perceived it as a direct threat against the KAW monopoly.

Simultaneously KAW protected A4O, now a mere shadow of its former self. Once a worthy fighting alliance, A4O was now nothing more then a group of farmers being protected by the iron fist of the powerful KAW alliance.

Jason’s territorial demands were immediate and harsh. He claimed the entire north for KAW, relegating KNG to the southern regions. As KNG moved their farms, KAW refused to reciprocate, keeping all their farms intact.

KNG was also forced by Jason to relocate their alliance multiple times. Despite the logistical nightmare, KNG decided to relocate the entire alliance—not once, not twice, but three times. Each move met with accusations of boundary violations.

Hypocrisy marked KAW’s every action. They condemned KNG for point-giving during kill events, yet they were the worst offenders.

They imposed restrictions on KNG farms, demanding low-level T4 troops while their own farms flourished. KAW had no qualms about purging KNG’s illegal farms but forbade KNG from reciprocating.

National chat was flooded with vitriol from KAW leaders, using words like “kill,” “stupid,” and “bugs” to describe their enemies.

Attempts at diplomacy were met with the cold ultimatum: “Do as we say, or you will die.” And despite KNG having completely refrained from illegal attacks, the writing was on the wall. KAW’s goals were clear: eliminate INT and coerce all strong players into submission of the KAW regime.

Then, without warning, Jason attacked DocB! He unleashed a fleet of 500,000 troops on DocB’s city. In a matter of seconds, 150,000 of DocB’s troops were wounded. Fortunately, DocB’s extensive hospitals prevented any deaths, and Jason’s attack cost him 3,000 troops. The assault was relentless.

Jason then immediately launched another four consecutive attacks, followed by four more from Antonkim. Nine waves of destruction left DocB’s troops decimated. The healing process would take 15 days, but DocB used healing speedups to recover his fleet immediately.

Despite this brutal attack, DocB held onto hope for diplomacy. But his hopes were shattered. Antonkim began a savage, undeclared war, targeting KNG, GIG, and their farms. Millions of troops were slaughtered, and billions of resources stolen. Antonkim gloated in Nation chat, his messages dripping with arrogance.

Panic spread like wildfire through KNG. DocB knew the stakes were higher than ever. KNG leadership then devised a plan to fight back, forging a covert relationship with INT and beginning to collaborate with their strongest players.

For two tense days, KNG prepared for war, watching their comrades fall. Premature action would mean certain death, so they exercised the utmost patience and discipline.

During this time, DocB fortified his power. He attained gold titans, upgraded his equipment to the orange category, and achieved six-star status on all officers. With T13 troops, DocB became a formidable force. Combined with BigDaddy and the KNG family, he felt an overwhelming sense of pride and determination.

And so Civil war was once again casted upon the KNG alliance. Despite facing a more formidable opponent, a sense of gritty confidence exuded from KNG commanders, who now had become more accustomed to war than peace. And as always DocB didn’t just believe they could prevail—he knew it with absolute certainty.

In a poetic act of vengeance and retribution, the formidable Bloodrunk was chosen to launch the first retaliatory strike. As the initial victim of the unsolicited attack that sparked the first civil war, it was only fitting for him to lead this assault. Armed with SOS, Slaughter, and Exterminate, Bloodrunk was primed for the task. And so the first strike was launched into enemy territory, marking the beginning of a new, fierce chapter in KNGs battle for survival…
