Chapter 12: The Ember and the Echo

The embers of conflict were barely cooled from the Sangjun assault when KAW reignited the fires of war. Cloaked in bravado and denial, their commanders scoffed at the attack’s significance, proclaiming Sangjun’s return was imminent. But those who remembered Nation 793 knew a different truth. Truth painted in scars and bitter memory. And yet, KAW, with a swagger born of pride rather than foresight, launched an offensive that threatened to unspool the delicate threads of peace once again.
Yet not all hearts in KAW beat for war. Many leaders, exhausted by the unrelenting drums of battle, sought peace and purpose. Frenzy and Void, the sacred proving grounds of national unity, became their rallying cry. They extended a hand to KNG, and this time, diplomacy prevailed. Once again nation 830 had peace. Peace that was fragile but real.
With the truce intact, DocB turned his gaze to the upcoming killing events. He moved swiftly, rallying the nation far an impending Frenzy event. Through sheer grit and coordination DocB earned a piace among the top six warriors. The taste of victory was sweet, but it carne with a lesson carved in steel: winning these battles wasn’t just about scoring, it was about denying the enemy of easy points.

And so, when farms within KAW’s lands began leaking points like open wounds, DocB was called upon to purge them. The unspoken code of high alliances deemed T5 and above fair game for cleansing. DocB wielded his fire with precision, burning only what must be burned for the greater good. But justice, it seemed, has a twisted sense of irony.
From the silence Jason emerged.
Dormant for seasons, his city stood as a monal ith of power. 24 million troops slept under his command. And then, without word or warning, they awoke. Like a god unchained, he hurled his fury at DocB. One attack. Then another. Three waves deep, and DocB’s army lay in ruin, dead and broken in hospital beds. Stili, Jason did not stop. He was not just killing troops. He was after DocB’s resources.

A red siren flashed. Thirteen times. And on the thirteenth stroke of fate, DocB finally saw what was happening. A shield went up. But the damage had been done.
The nation held its breath. Surely DocB, mighty C40 commander, would bring fire and fury. lnstead he opted for a strategic, patient, controlled approach. He did not rage. He convened. Trusted mentors BigDaddy and Bbundles, members of the elite KNG Aristocrats, came together. They whispered strategy over emotion. Patience over vengeance.

Some believed KAW might offer restitution. Perhaps even discipline Jason.
But then word came from KNG’s spies within KAW: there would be no retribution. Only laughter.
DocB weighed his options.
Option one: strike Jason directly. A fool’s errand. 24 million troops could not be swayed by wrath alone.
Option two: assault any and every KAW affiliated city. Tempting, but it would drag all back to war and undo the fragile peace.
Option three: strike a symbol. A leader. One whose negligence allowed this chaos. One whose quiet disdain had echoed too long.
That target would be Nobless. RS of KAW. Intense. Silent. Proud. Vulnerable.
DocB waited two long weeks.
Then he left MMD and joined KNG. A move that raised eyebrows but made sense to those who understood the battlefield. Then, like a falcon that sees its prey exposed, he struck. Nobless was unshielded. The result? Devastation. 740,000 dead. 250,000 wounded. A clear, sharp message: justice, not vengeance.

He declared it an isolated strike. Peace was still possible.
But the echo that followed was no mere reply. lt was thunder. Nobless seized Jason’s city, wielding it like a poisoned biade. He sent multiple fleets to attack MMD flags and alliance hall. Five full fleets, each bearing 500,000 troops. MMD flags fell like dominos, torched again and again until the sky glowed red. One hundred flags. AII setto burn. Not once. Not twice. But until they were all setto a maximum burning status. Despair sank into MMD. Even DocBsTerminator and DocBsDefender could not stem the tide.
But DocB did not falter. He moved silently, strategically. He rejoined MMD knowing he was the only wall between it and annihilation.
But DocB is no martyr. For every attack, DocB gained strength. He knew defense would require gold, and gold would require packs. Packs meant accelerated strength and growth. So he embraced the fire. Like a blacksmith forging steel in flame, DocB grew stronger. And then, within days the gates opened: C41 . The fabled citadel. He was now stronger than Sangjun. The tormentar of the old world could now be beaten in one-on-one combat.
But Nobless would not relent. One week passed. Two. Three. Then one month. Two. Every day, a siege. Every day, destruction.
So DocB did the unthinkable. He gathered the entire MMD alliance. His voice, calm but heavy, rang with sorrow and purpose. He would dissolve MMD. Not in defeat. In strategy. Let the flags burn. Let Jason’s city have nothing left to target.

Without MMD, there could be no war against MMD. He promised his people: this was not the end.
In a poetic twist the old GIG alliance would become their temporary home. Proof that strength and love always find their way home. And MMD? MMD would be reborn when the time was right.
MMD, the symbol of resilience, vanished. But in its piace, hope began to flicker.
DocB returned to KNG. Now, the war between KAW and KNG raged fully. Amid this chaos, Lucifer,

a once a proud KAW commander, sought peace. He recieved a curious offer from within KAW: $100 in AOZ coins to Lucifers city in exchange for peace. lt seemed to good to be true.
DocB doubled it to $200. But then carne the truth. Nobless demanded $10,000. Real dollars. Not game currency. Blood money for silence.
Demanding it be deposited into a bank in Korea. Lucifer tried to take the fall, shielding the ugliness with nobility and communicating his retrieval of the funds himself.
lt was a noble and genuine attempt at peace. But in the end, he could not live with the lie. He exposed everything.
The screenshots spread like wildfire. Nobless from within Jasons city engaging in an act of extortion.
Many in KAW refused to believe it. But the truth, undeniable and raw, cracked their allegiance. And with that a mass exodus of KAW fighters left KAW. They crossed the line. Joined KNG. Not just to fight, but to stand for something greater. This was no longer about flags, cities, or burned halls. This was about justice. About integrity. About the future.
And with that, the tide turned. One by one, the war drums of KAW fell silent, not from peace, but from desertion. FMJ. Lucifer. Barbosa. RamboRed. Trigger, Abysswalker, Streetcowboy, Tekhyur, Richard, Robert,Anubis, Hama, Lewis, Thebeave, Elvis, Hama, Skillit, Mohammad.ires. Names once etched into the halls of KAW’s might now joined KNG. Their migration wasn’t just symbolic, it was tectonic. The very foundation of KAW shook beneath their absence. Others, wearied by the endless cycle of conflict and corruption, left KAW and chose neutrality. KAW was no longer the lion, it was becoming the cage.
And while the battlefield was stil I smoking with fresh scars, the writing on the wall grew bolder.
Antonkim remained hidden beneath a shield, his name fading into the background like a forgotten song. Sangjun, the once-mythic warrior, stood stili rooted in piace by fear or fatigue.
But the most jarring symbol of change carne from Jason himself. For the first time in recorded memory, his city shimmered behind a shield. The titan who once roamed f reely without fear now wrapped himself in glass walls. The shield wasn’t just a game mechanic, it was a monument to how far the balance had shifted. To shield, for Jason, was to admit vulnerability.
KNG leadership gathered, the night air thick with purpose. Two goals were etched into stone. No longer kept secret in private war rooms but declared to the world:
First, they would attempt the unthinkable: capture the capitai from KAW’s hands.
Second, they would watch Jason’s city. Wait. Wait like the wind watches the forest. Patiently and disciplined, until the right leaf falls. lf unshielded and at least 60 online, they would strike. Not with desperation, but with coordinated fury, just as they had brought down Sangjun.
And as this new chapter unfolded, DocB made good on his most sacred promise.
MMD was reborn.
But this was not the MMD of old. This was the Mindful Military Doctrine-not just an alliance, but a movement. Precision. Power. Purpose. Reforged in the crucible of pain and betrayal, it returned not to exist, but to lead. Armed with true leaders Beech and Fatboy MMD reclaimed its notoriety in nation 830.
And lead they did.
In its first days, MMD purged and eliminated KAW’s scattered farms with surgical grace. But its crown jewel was the fall of A4O. Once a mighty presence, A4O now lay reset, zeroed, and swept away like dust in a storm. lts remaining fragments ran to KAW for shelter. KAW now had lowlevel farm cities clinging to the bones of a broken structure. The academy that once trained warriors now held no teeth, no pride. Just embers.
The story of this era, however, ends not with resolution, but with questions. The capitai stood. Jason’s shield held. War raged on, but the momentum clearly shifted. Peace hovered as a faint possibility, but would Nobless relent? Would Jason ever unshield again? Would there be another merger to reweave the national tapestry? These questions burned across every commander’s mind.
But not DocB’s.
He did not ponder. He built. He focused. He remembered. He remembered how no one thought he could match Sangjun. He remembered how they doubted his ability to face A40. He remembered the laughter, the doubt, the dismissals at the genesis of it all. And he knew: doubt is his fire.
For while the nation looked at borders, flags, and shields, DocB looked only atone thing:
Jason.
The last great wall. The final battle. The finish line. And as the stars of Nation 830 looked down on the battlefield below, they did not see a commander preparing far war. They saw a legend in the making.
